As a Motion Graphics / Video Editor at Kalshi, you'll be instrumental in defining how the world experiences our brand through video. You'll work closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to produce highly polished, brand-focused video content that elevates our presence across all platforms. Over time, you'll help evolve Kalshi's visual storytelling, push creative boundaries with new formats, and set the standard for excellence as we scale.
Job Responsibility:
Create highly polished, brand-focused long-form and short-form videos that elevate our brand expression across all platforms and marketing materials
Collaborate with creative and product teams to translate our latest UI and product releases into compelling video content, bringing concepts from idea to final cut
Incorporate and create bespoke motion graphics from scratch—tailored to each project's unique needs
Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all video content, working within established brand guidelines while finding opportunities to push creative boundaries
Edit and optimize video content for various platforms including social media, web, paid advertising, and brand campaigns
Assist with storyboarding, concepting, asset organization, and post-production workflows
Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining exceptionally high creative and technical quality
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Requirements:
0–6 years of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related creative role
Strong proficiency with video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)
A vision, passion, and endless energy to create fresh, standout visuals in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional understanding of pacing, storytelling, visual composition, and motion design principles
Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing work that incorporates various brand guidelines and showcases your art direction
Proven ability to work with brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across projects
Strong attention to detail and a refined creative eye for polished, professional visuals
Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback openly, and work collaboratively
Experience creating and incorporating motion graphics and visual effects
Nice to have:
Design background and familiarity with Figma and UI animation
Experience with Cinema 4D or other 3D tools and workflows
Familiarity with X (Twitter), online culture, crypto, and finance
Experience creating content for social-first or performance-driven campaigns
Ability to concept and art direct ideas as well as execute them end-to-end
Interest in prediction markets, finance, or technology-driven products
