This role involves programming industrial control panels with a strong focus on PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. The candidate will develop, troubleshoot, and maintain automation software for applications such as pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants. Responsibilities include onsite start-ups, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation. The role also involves collaborating with customers and teams to resolve issues, performing engineering calculations, and preparing technical documentation to support project delivery and ongoing maintenance.
Job Responsibility:
Intermediate software development using industrial automation software
Program control panels from scratch
PLC, HMI and SCADA programming
Problem solving for large-scale software applications
Work on applications such as pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants
Designing, developing, and presenting standard operating procedures on equipment
Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks
Collaborate with other employees to provide follow-up and engineering assistance
Assist in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts and summaries
Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot, and provide technical skills and training
Recommend and design components and systems to meet customer specifications
Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 2D and 3D drawings, schematics
Ensure processes and environmental conditions comply with regulatory and safety standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Zero to two years of related experience
Proficient use of industrial automation software
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
Mechanical and math skills
Ability to formulate ideas and create design solutions
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
