Job Description:

Motion Ai is seeking a motivated individual with industrial experience to join our dynamic team as a Materials Expeditor. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a customer first mindset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Send open order reports to suppliers and obtain accurate delivery information
  • Update the ERP system with delivery information including delivery dates, confirmation numbers, tracking information etc.
  • Collaborate with internal depts. Such as manufacturing, warehousing, customer service teams, accounts payables and others
  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure that orders are processed and delivered on time, while meeting company standards
  • Research price discrepancies and work as liaison between internal departments and supplier to rectify
  • Proactively expedite and source product to meet manufacturing and customer required dates
  • Build and maintain lasting customer relationships by providing excellent customer care and driving repeat business

Requirements:

  • Requires high school diploma or GED
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Ability to function well within a team and yet be self-motivated
  • Fast and accurate computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure while ensuring that departmental metrics and industrial standards are maintained
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while understanding complex industrial product information
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP or Epicor Prophet 21 experience a plus
