Full-time Motel Manager position available with competitive salary. Work in a dynamic team in NSW 2350. As Motel Manager at G and S Motels Pty Ltd you will be responsible for overseeing all motel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, financial performance and smooth day-to-day management. This position requires strong leadership, business acumen and hospitality focus.
Job Responsibility:
Direct and manage reservation, reception and front desk operations to deliver excellent guest service
Supervise housekeeping, room servicing and maintenance of guest facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Oversee property and grounds maintenance, including gardens, equipment and all guest-area amenities
Manage budgets, accounting processes, purchasing and cost-control measures to meet financial targets
Plan and implement marketing and promotional activities to drive occupancy and revenue, including coordinating local tourism information and guest services
Recruit, train and supervise staff across reception, housekeeping, maintenance and catering (if applicable), fostering a positive team culture
Ensure full compliance with occupational health & safety regulations, liquor/gaming laws (if applicable) and general risk management protocols
Monitor and review guest satisfaction and feedback – handle complaints professionally and initiate service improvement actions
Coordinate events, group bookings, guest transport/tour arrangements or restaurant/function activities (if applicable) as part of the motel service offering
Maintain accurate records of financial performance, guest statistics, stock and purchasing, and prepare regular reports for business owners
Requirements:
Relevant Qualification
A minimum of one year of experience as a Motel Manager
Proven experience managing guest accommodation operations and hospitality teams
Strong financial literacy and the ability to monitor budgets, revenue, and costs
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
A high level of organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead a team and maintain high standards under pressure
