Job Description:

We have opportunities for MOT Testers at our Rochester, Dartford and Deptford sites. You will deliver all aspects of the MOT test to Government standards. You will put just as much into the customer experience as the technical aspects of your role to ensure our customers feel welcome and looked after so they return year after year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out MOT tests reporting faults accurately and complete all paperwork according to statutory requirements
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records
  • Make full use of specialised tools, service equipment and training
  • Clearly and accurately document all work performed
  • Ensure vehicles are carefully handled
  • Keep workstations clean and tidy
  • Undertake other reasonable duties and training as required

Requirements:

  • Valid MOT license
  • UK driving license
  • 4 years mechanical experience (for training candidates)
  • No convictions (for training candidates)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to learn and develop
  • Confidence in explaining MOT procedures to customers
  • Commitment to brand values
  • Willingness to travel to other sites on occasion
