Job Description

The main objective of the role will be to MOT test light vehicles as set out by DVSA in a safe and efficient manner. The role reports directly to the Centre Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standard and input details on the DVSA computer system
  • Fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles
  • Carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
  • Increase sales of products and services offered by the Company in accordance with procedures
  • Adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
  • Comply with reasonable instructions from Management
  • Keep company-supplied uniform clean and presentable at all times
  • Be available for work at the times specified by the Company

Requirements

  • Valid MOT Tester licence issued by the DVSA
  • Flexible approach to tasks
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Excellent communicator
  • Proven experience working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and independently
  • Take pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard
