Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant

• Participate in soliciting residential mortgages from various sources
• Produce high quality compliant loans with excellent customer service
• Build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank stores, past customers
• Develop and maintain high visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in marketplace
• Present recommendations for producing loans
• Understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions
• Receive customer applications, quote rates and points
• Review and analyze financial and credit data
• Match customer needs with appropriate loan programs
• Inform customers of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs, rates, policies

• 2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• SAFE registration required
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with retail residential mortgage, purchase fundings
• Experience educating clients on various mortgage programs
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals
• Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
• Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish/English
• Customer service experience
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
