Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending. This position involves soliciting residential mortgages, building professional relationships, and ensuring compliance with mortgage lending regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Solicit residential mortgages from various sources
Produce high quality compliant loans
Build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals
Develop visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Present recommendations for producing loans
Understand real estate appraisals and transactions
Receive customer applications and quote rates
Review financial and credit data
Inform customers of mortgage programs
Pursue training offerings

Requirements:

2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience or equivalent
SAFE registration required
Compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
Ability to lift 20+ pounds
Reliable transportation
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed

Nice to have:

Basic Microsoft Office skills
Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over past 12 months
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Mortgage industry experience
Knowledge of sales prospecting and generating referrals
Experience developing professional relationships
Customer service experience
