Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant (SAFE) in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending. This position involves soliciting residential mortgages, building relationships with real estate professionals, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Solicit residential mortgages from various sources
Produce high quality compliant loans
Build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals
Develop visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Present recommendations for producing loans
Understand real estate appraisals and transactions
Receive customer applications and quote rates
Review financial and credit data
Match customer needs with loan programs
Maintain high standard of client satisfaction

Requirements:

2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience
SAFE registration required
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over past 12 months
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Mortgage industry experience
Knowledge of sales prospecting and generating referrals
Experience developing professional relationships
Customer service experience
Ability to lift 20+ pounds
Reliable transportation
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Nice to have:

Basic Microsoft Office skills
