Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant (SAFE) in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending. This position involves soliciting residential mortgages, building relationships with real estate professionals, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Solicit residential mortgages from various sources
Produce high quality compliant loans
Build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank stores, past customers
Develop and maintain high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Present recommendations for producing loans
Understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions
Receive customer applications, quote rates and points
Review and analyze financial and credit data
Match customer needs with appropriate loan programs
Inform customers of mortgage programs, rates, policies

Requirements:

2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience
SAFE registration required
Compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals
Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
Customer service experience
Ability to lift 20+ pounds
Reliable transportation
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed

Nice to have:

Bilingual speaking proficiency in Tagalog/English
Bilingual speaking proficiency in Chinese/English
Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over the past 12 months referred primarily from established, local, external sources
Mortgage industry experience
