Job Description

As our New Partner Compliance Supervisor (Mortgage Quality and Compliance Supervisor), you’ll play a key role in ensuring mortgage firms and advisers who are new to the Stonebridge Network receive consistent, high‑quality support as they work towards CAS accreditation. You’ll be hands‑on with case reviews, business standards reviews, CPD monitoring and promotional material checks — while also coaching colleagues and helping to harmonise standards across the team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys a blend of technical compliance work, people development, and continuous improvement. You’ll also deputise for the New Partner Compliance Manager when required, giving you exposure to leadership responsibilities and cross‑team collaboration.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver performance targets and ensure AR firms meet required standards
  • Complete Business Standards Reviews, observations and promotional material checks
  • Review mortgage & insurance cases, identifying risks, shortfalls or potential fraud
  • Support AR firms via phone/email with clear, regulatory‑aligned guidance
  • Monitor CPD and competence records and prepare accurate MI data
  • Produce MI reports and maintain up‑to‑date spreadsheets
  • Identify process and system improvements and contribute to project work
  • Ensure new AR firms achieve CAS accreditation within expected timelines
  • Promote consistency and best practice across all compliance teams
  • Deputise for the New Partner Compliance Manager when needed

Requirements

  • Supervisory or management experience within mortgage, protection, financial services, or quality assurance, ideally in compliance or adviser support
  • Strong understanding of business standards, regulatory requirements, and the CAS accreditation process
  • Confident communication skills — written, verbal and in giving constructive feedback
  • Ability to coach, guide and support colleagues
  • Excellent planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support cross‑team initiatives
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to raising standards
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MI reporting and internal systems (e.g., Revolution)
  • Able to fully satisfy the pre-employment screening process, which comprises code of conduct, right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks

What we offer

  • A great company culture built on openness, collaboration, and support
  • Competitive salary and performance-related bonus (non-contractual)
  • 22 days annual leave plus your birthday off, and up to 3 additional days for length of service
  • Company pension with optional matched contributions up to 1.5%
  • Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home
  • Free breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks when working in the office
  • 2 volunteering days and 1 team volunteering day each year
  • 2 half-days of paid ‘me time’ to support mental and physical wellbeing
  • Employee engagement activities, recognition schemes, and retail discounts
  • Salary sacrifice schemes (home tech, cycle to work, pension)
  • Gym subsidy, company sick pay, and EAP support
  • Option to buy up to 5 extra days’ holiday
  • £500 employee referral scheme
  • Death in service cover and critical illness insurance cover
