Job Responsibility

  • Build trusted partnerships with builder sales teams through consistent field presence in new home communities
  • Represent New Home Mortgage at builder events and collaborate to drive awareness and capture
  • Meet directly with homebuyers to deliver personalized mortgage consultations and originate FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans
  • Guide buyers from pre-qualification through closing with speed, clarity, and transparency
  • Train and support builder sales teams on loan programs, options, and qualification strategies
  • Maintain high capture rates by proactively engaging every buyer opportunity
  • Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and on-time closings
  • Keep CRM, pipeline reporting, and disclosures accurate while upholding the highest standards of ethics and customer-first service

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–4 years of residential mortgage lending or loan origination experience
  • Proven success in sales, relationship management, or builder-partnership roles
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
  • Proficient with mortgage LOS systems and CRM platforms
  • Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license required
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regularly to builder communities
  • Self-starting mindset, reliability, and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience

Nice to have

  • Multi-state licensing is preferred
  • Familiarity with modern, tech-forward tools is a plus
