Job Description:

We are looking for a Mortgage Loan Assistant to support the mortgage process by managing the administrative tasks associated with escrow accounts. You will be working Monday to Friday full time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting mortgage loan officers by preparing and processing loan documents
  • Communicating with clients to collect required financial information and documentation
  • Verifying applicant details, employment, and financial status for loan qualification
  • Coordinating with internal departments, title companies, and external vendors to ensure timely completion of loan files
  • Reviewing loan applications for accuracy and completeness before submission
  • Assisting in scheduling client meetings and following up on outstanding documentation
  • Updating loan records and databases with current status and documentation
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding loan status, requirements, and procedures
  • Performing administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and correspondence related to mortgage processing
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the loan process

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prior mortgage experience
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems, Microsoft Office, and document management platforms
  • Basic understanding of mortgage lending guidelines and relevant compliance regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication to interact with clients, lenders, and colleagues
  • High accuracy in processing documents, maintaining records, and verifying information
  • Ability to handle multiple loan files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
