Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and develop large Home Loan Operations teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
  • Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers
  • Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Home Lending Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ years of management or leadership experience

Nice to have:

  • 6+ years of Home Lending Operations experience, US Home Lending / Mortgage experience is a must
  • 6+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Experience in Customer Telecommunication Contact within a Financial Services Environment, Financial Services Operations, Closing Underwriting, and Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, & education
  • Strong Pipeline Management Oversight and Routines
