Job Description

We are looking for a Mortgage File Reviewer (Business Standards Assessor), previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided, enabling the successful candidate to acquire all of the industry-specific knowledge needed to undertake the role. Our successful candidate will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, with hybrid working, 3 days from our Basildon office and 2 days working from home.

Job Responsibility

  • Complete reviews of mortgage and insurance cases
  • Provide feedback and guidance on cases reviewed
  • Review updated cases to ensure remedial actions completed
  • Update logs/spreadsheets with details of cases managed and completed

Requirements

  • Previous office/admin experience preferred but not essential
  • Able to remain focused and motivated reviewing lengthy, detailed documentation
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Probing, investigative, analytical
  • Clear and articulate communicator
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Ability to create MI and reporting
  • Able to fully satisfy the pre-employment screening process, which comprises right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks
