Job Description:

Citi’s Risk Management organization is seeking a Monitoring & Testing Specialist to execute monitoring and testing of controls, assess control design, and identify monitoring breaks, ensuring the risk management control environment is strengthened. The role includes working collaboratively with business teams, maintaining control tracking reports, and adhering to policy.

Job Responsibility:

Perform monitoring and testing of controls
Conduct control design assessments
Assist in monitoring review augmentation per PRCM
Identify monitoring breaks
Support business teams with required deliverables
Maintain reports for control tracking and analysis
Appropriately assess risks during business decisions
Drive compliance with laws and regulations
Escalate and report control issues with transparency

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Ability to work in a team environment, listen, and work well with others
Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area
Good attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and organize information
Some experience in policy adherence, control effectiveness, and open communication
Collaboration and communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Problem solving skills ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
