Baptist Health is offering a three week training program to join our team as a Monitor Technician! At the end of the class, participants will pass a test to be hired on Full-Time at Baptist!

Job Responsibility:

  • Observing patients for variations in normal heart rhythms
  • Closely observing EKG's on the monitor
  • Analyzing and interpreting these patterns for any signs of abnormalities
  • Collaborating with the nurse or physician regarding a response plan in the case of any irregularities

Requirements:

  • High School
  • Must be available for all three classes
  • Must shadow two Monitor Technician shifts between the first and third classes

  • Certification Program Implementation: Prepare and train the Manufacturing Training Coordinators on the newly released certification programs
  • Monitor the initial certification training sessions for the newly released certification programs
  • Training & Certification: Manage and assign the daily and weekly task plans for the test & repair Manufacturing Training Coordinators
  • Manage, submit and maintain test & repair team training and certification records with the Training Management System (TMS)
  • Complete certification training program tasks when required, including but not limited to training sessions, certification exams, certification updates and recertifications
  • Complete new-hire technician onboarding program training when required
  • Continuous Improvement: Share manufacturing test & repair practices feedback with the NPI and Manufacturing Engineering teams
