Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Momentum Technical SME for an opportunity with a large federal customer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience with leading Momentum implementation activities in large federal programs, in a large cabinet-level organization which is essential to the successful performance of the program. The Momentum Technical SME will support the Sr. Momentum Technical SME, the Program Manager, and the entire program providing leadership and guidance to each of the Team Leads and staff members. The Momentum Technical SME should be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative, interfaces well with multiple clients and has experience in taking ownership of work assignments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide technical guidance on implementing Momentum in a cloud environment as part of a financial and acquisition management system for a Cabinet Level Agency
  • Direct and perform technical tasks including analysis, requirements development, technical configuration, system performance testing as part of an implementation of Momentum
  • Recommend system improvements in the following specialties as they pertain to Momentum: information systems architecture, networking, cloud environment configuration, performance testing, automation, security, communications, software life-cycle management, modeling and simulation

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience supporting Momentum Implementation technical activities at a large cabinet level agency with thousands of concurrent users
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • Expertise with cloud computing environments, including configuration and tuning for application and database servers
  • Experience with implementing high-volume system interfaces with Momentum (both real-time and batch)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs and/or Veterans Health Administration
  • Experience with Momentum functional or system performance testing with multiple system interfaces
