Job Description:

We're a full-service dermatology practice with 50+ locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. Now Delaware and Philly too! We are the fastest growing Dermatology practice in the Northeast. We are searching for a friendly, driven, hard-working medical assistant to join us. This vacancy does require weekend flexibility and 40 hours of Full-time work shift.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and maintain surgical rooms and instruments for all Mohs cases
  • Assist during Mohs procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique
  • Handle, label, and transport tissue specimens accurately
  • Document patient information, procedure notes, and pathology details in EMR
  • Provide pre-op and post-op patient education and wound-care instructions
  • Perform clinical tasks including suture removal, dressing changes, and wound checks
  • Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and restock as needed
  • Support clinic flow and collaborate with the dermatology team to ensure a smooth patient experience

Requirements:

  • Experience in dermatology, surgical assisting, or Mohs surgery strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with specimens
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to multitask in a quick clinical environment
  • EMR experience (eClinicalWorks/EMR of your choice) is a plus
