Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled profile with good experience in Java and Spring Boot to manage the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of AWS services, a strong grasp of software engineering best practices, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java (and/or in Angular)
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including scrum masters, product owners, architects, developers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Java (8+), Spring Framework (Boot, Batch, JPA), Docker, Jenkins and AWS cloud services
  • Java Script/Angular
  • Knowledge in designing and implementing secure, REST APIs and AWS Serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Strong background in unit testing, integration testing, and code quality assurance using JUnit, Mockito/Behave, SonarQube, Checkmarx and related tools
  • Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control and collaboration
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSql databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Ability to accurately estimate the effort required for development tasks and plan accordingly
