This is a small infrastructure team working across a hybrid environment that spans on-premises infrastructure and multi-cloud. As a Modern Workplace / EUC Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of enterprise system administration, automated endpoint provisioning, and user-centric operations. This is a highly visible role where you will manage the lifecycle of hybrid desktop environment, moving away from manual configurations to robust, centralized automation. You will take the lead for our endpoint management platforms, responsible for imaging, packaging, and securing our multi-OS environment, while maintaining the underlying on-prem and cloud-native network fabrics that keep our workforce connected.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage, image, and patch a diverse enterprise environment supporting both Windows and mac fleets
  • Design, scale, and maintain centralized endpoint configurations utilizing Intune and JAMF for Unified Endpoint Management
  • Take ownership of application packaging, deployment pipelines, and centralized configuration policies
  • Carry out AD and GPO administration, maintaining a strong working knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid single sign-on structures
  • Support and scale our Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix environments to enable secure, remote productivity
  • Develop custom PowerShell scripts and automated workflows to streamline repetitive operational tasks, eliminate single points of failure, and optimize fleet health
  • Manage everyday on-prem peripherals, including print servers, Follow Me printing infrastructure, and executive audio-visual (AV) setups

Requirements

  • Available to start in June 2026 with valid NZ work rights
  • 3+ years of proven System Administration or Infrastructure Engineering or EUC Engineering experience, specifically operating in a hybrid corporate environment
  • In-depth tech support knowledge of both Windows and mac desktops
  • Hands-on experience auditing, monitoring, and restructuring AD Users, Groups, Computers, GPOs, and OUs
  • A solid understanding of computer security systems, data protection, storage fundamentals, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Strong scripting and automation fundamentals (PowerShell) with a clear focus on building structured, repeatable operational playbooks
  • The unique ability to translate dense technical jargon into clear, actionable advice for both non-technical business stakeholders and internal engineering peers
