Due to organisational growth and the opening of a new project, we are now recruiting for a Modern Slavery Accommodation Support Worker to work in a safe house setting based in the Liverpool area. This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will also be required to be part of an on call rota.
Job Responsibility:
Be responsible for day-to-day health and safety of accommodation provision
Be responsible for safety, risk management and security of service users whilst on shift
Promote best practise in supporting survivors and monitoring impact of services and outcomes for survivors
Administrative duties: maintaining administrative systems, records, statistics and any administrative tasks related to the service users
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, safeguarding, and quality frameworks
Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
Experience of working with vulnerable adults
Ability to work within a residential or community setting with non-UK residents
Ability to drive with a valid licence with use of own vehicle insured for business purposes is essential
Willing to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Able to get to and from the project via public transport or own car if necessary to attend while on call
