Job Description:

Due to organisational growth and the opening of a new project, we are now recruiting for a Modern Slavery Accommodation Support Worker to work in a safe house setting based in the Liverpool area. This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will also be required to be part of an on call rota.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for day-to-day health and safety of accommodation provision
  • Be responsible for safety, risk management and security of service users whilst on shift
  • Promote best practise in supporting survivors and monitoring impact of services and outcomes for survivors
  • Administrative duties: maintaining administrative systems, records, statistics and any administrative tasks related to the service users

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, safeguarding, and quality frameworks
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults
  • Ability to work within a residential or community setting with non-UK residents
  • Ability to drive with a valid licence with use of own vehicle insured for business purposes is essential
  • Willing to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • Able to get to and from the project via public transport or own car if necessary to attend while on call
