As an Associate Level Systems Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element Modeling and Simulation development and integration for updates to the GMD Element.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element Modeling and Simulation development and integration for updates to the GMD Element
  • Supporting the development and verification of the requirements for GMD High and Medium Fidelity Model and Simulation (M&S) products
  • Develop requirements in DOORS and write/execute test cases for those requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Experience with or knowledge of one or more of the following: DOORS, Cameo
  • Ability to understand complex system designs and algorithms
  • Ability to derive a system requirement based on capability needs statements
  • Experience working with an Agile based development team
  • Experience briefing completed work at iteration demonstrations and to stakeholders
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

  • GMD program experience
  • System of Systems Integration experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance and identify root cause and recommend solutions
  • Experience verifying requirement implementation
  • Knowledge of Agile development process
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, or the Atlassian tool suite (Jira)
  • Utilization of Digital Engineering environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, must be able to work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment
