As a Model Cars Expert, you will curate high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. Your expertise ensures each lot, whether vintage or recent, is relevant, accurately valued, and aligned with collector expectations. You contribute directly to the growth and success of your category by combining specialist knowledge with commercial judgement, maintaining transparency and building strong relationships within the model cars community.

Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate and arrange model car lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings
  • Create compelling weekly lot selections using your expertise and professional network
  • Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values
  • Safeguard transparent and fair transactions through consistent expert evaluation
  • Communicate rejections professionally and diplomatically, maintaining strong seller relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots
  • Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge in Model Cars, both vintage and recent
  • Strong commercial acumen and documented commercial experience
  • An eye for trade and value within the collectibles market
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act diplomatically in user disputes
  • A network of potential sellers and experts within your field
  • Good computer skills and confidence working with digital tools
  • Good command of English, written and spoken
