Job Responsibility

  • Develop and manage system requirements throughout their lifecycle
  • Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools to define system architectures
  • Identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of systems engineering efforts
  • Perform requirements verification and compliance assessments to support major design reviews
  • Apply systems engineering principles to complex defense systems, with preference for experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or developing naval system architectures (e.g., undersea, maritime, or platform-level combat and mission systems)

Requirements

  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
  • Must possess and be able to maintain an active Secret Clearance
  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy acquisition programs or engineering of undersea or maritime platforms (e.g., submarines, shipboard combat systems, or integrated mission systems) is strongly preferred
  • Experience with one or more of the following: NoMagic, MagicDraw, Cameo, SysML, UPDM, IBM Rhapsody
