Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field with at least 2 years' related experience
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes and related tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw)
Ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines
Skills in generating system/element level functional, performance, and interface specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed
Self-motivated and customer-oriented
Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance

Job Responsibility

Perform Systems Engineering functions such as requirements decomposition and interface definition
Complete use case development and preparing systems engineering artifacts as a part of program Cross-Functional Product Teams to implement customer-requested capabilities
Follow an Agile framework to manage the backlog and document progress
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Work with teams crossing multiple functions in order to drive data connectivity from architecture to requirements to test
