Model Analyst - AI & ML

• Independently validate Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) non-model objects including unsupervised learning models, Natural Language Processing models and Generative AI models
• Develop and implement Generative AI solutions to enhance efficiency of validation activities
• Supports the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Risk programs, policies and practices for Risk Management
• Identifies potential risks and escalates for further review
• Creates and maintains reports for control, tracking, and analysis purposes and ensures appropriate and secure retention of documents
• Works with more senior staff in investigating and responding to customer and operational complaints
• Interacts and works with other areas within Risk Management, as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

• 3+ years’ industry experience
• Model development or validation experience using NLP techniques is mandatory
• Experience / familiarity with AI / ML applications in areas such as generative AI, cybersecurity, chatbot, natural language processing, image / voice recognition, robotic process automation
• In-depth technical knowledge of generative AI, common AI/ML techniques and strong understanding of risks associated with generative AI, AI/ML and corresponding mitigants
• Ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders with various background, and to effectively explain technical terms to audience with different levels of technical knowledge
• Ability to conduct independent research on cutting edge technology about Generative AI
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
• Master degree and above with a specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or other quantitative discipline - data science, AI/ML, etc. preferred
