Job Description

We are looking for detail-oriented Legal Support professionals to assist in jury trial preparation and related legal activities. This contract position is based in Lafayette, Colorado, and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a legal environment without requiring extensive prior legal background. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a collaborative setting and contributing to the success of trial preparations.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the preparation of visual aids, models, and mockups for trial presentations
  • Provide support during jury-related tasks and ensure all trial materials are organized and ready
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure all documentation and materials meet project requirements
  • Participate in trial preparation activities, contributing to the smooth execution of case strategies
  • Follow directions from legal professionals and adapt to changing priorities during project timelines
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive legal information
  • Perform non-legal assistance tasks as necessary to support the trial team
  • Ensure all materials are prepared and delivered on time to meet deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with team members to address any challenges or changes in project scope
  • Assist in setting up and organizing trial spaces for optimal functionality
  • Listen attentively to all mock trial presentations, including opening statements, witness testimonies, and closing arguments

  • Provide specialist support to women using the service and advice and guidance to other team members regarding women's mental health issues
  • Promote and facilitate service user involvement and inclusion within Mental Health Bristol and the community in line with Mental Health Bristol Partnership objectives
