Job Description:

We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician, to cover the Southwest.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing and minor plumbing
  • Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
  • Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
  • Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures
  • Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required
  • Dosing of closed systems and cooling tower clean and chlorination's

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable

  • Travelling routinely to the 2 hospital sites to undertake PPM’s and reactive maintenance on the building systems
  • To manage the timely completion of work orders for planned and reactive maintenance, oversee specialist sub-contract work and remedial work
  • Undertake mechanical and electrical building maintenance to include but not exhaustively working on air handling Units (AHUs), emergency/power generators, emergency lighting checks, lighting and security systems, HVAC, pumps, legionella temperature check, tanks flushes, plumbing remedial works
  • Host specialist engineers/manufacturers engineers/contractors on site to undertake specialist remedial/warranty works as required
  • Plant room walk rounds – undertake any snagging and general maintenance/remedial works on each site as required
