Mobile Water Hygiene Technician

• Complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, minor plumbing and electro / mechanical tasks to meet clients' requirements
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Travel to client sites and completing the necessary tasks to maintain compliance
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
• Take a variety of water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with company procedures
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required
• Communicate on a daily basis with the service department and your supervisor, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently
• Maintain adequate stocks of chemicals and materials as necessary
• Ensure that any equipment that you are responsible for is properly maintained
• Follow safety procedures as per company policy and any site-specific or additional client requirements
• Complete any reasonable task requested by your manager and / or the business

• Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment is essential
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
• Basic IT skills, including the use of tablets / mobile devices and Microsoft programmes is necessary
• The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively is required

Experience of completing works on heating / chilled water systems and chemical dosing systems
