Job Description:

The Mobile & VAS Product Manager is responsible for defining, delivering, and maximizing the value of the Converged, Mobile, and Value-Added Services (VAS) portfolios across business segments. The role owns the product vision, roadmap, and commercial performance of the propositions, acting as the primary business representative for these products. This role combines strategic product leadership with end-to-end ownership of product platforms, systems, and lifecycle management. It ensures strong commercial governance, effective go-to-market support, excellent customer experience, and operational efficiency. The position serves as a key interface between Business, IT, Network, Digital Engineering, Finance, and external partners to ensure coherent product development, system integration, and ongoing performance management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap across Mobile and VAS portfolios, including converged business propositions and RLAH propositions
  • Translate product roadmaps into clearly defined product requirements, specifications, and delivery priorities
  • Define product scope and phasing based on customer lifecycle needs, technical constraints, and time-to-market considerations
  • Drive FLEX for Business propositions by adapting consumer capabilities and platforms for the business segment (VBU)
  • Own the preparation and prioritization of MRSs for new portfolios, add-ons, and product features along with CRs
  • Approve final release scope and accept delivered solutions against agreed product and system requirements
  • Ensure stability, performance, and service quality across Mobile and VAS platforms, driving continuous system and service improvements
  • Identify, track, and proactively manage risks and dependencies across Converged, Mobile, and VAS products and systems

Requirements:

  • Strong product management capability with proven ownership of complex products, platforms, and systems across their full lifecycle
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Deep understanding of Mobile, VAS, and Converged telecom propositions and their supporting architectures and platforms
  • Proven experience in portfolio and lifecycle management within a telecom or technology-driven environment
  • Ability to evaluate multiple solution options, understand trade-offs, and make sound decisions aligned with product and system objectives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand business needs, prioritize effectively, and build sustainable cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to analyse and proactively manage business demand for new services or modifications to existing product features, volumes, or platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, address complex challenges, understand root causes, and deliver tangible business and operational impact

  • Strong hands-on experience with RF (Radio Frequency) framework / Mobile Data Entry, including configuration and process optimization
  • Good exposure to Handling Unit (HU) and Batch Management processes, including tracking, serialization, and warehouse execution
  • Experience working with EDI/interface-based integrations and warehouse automation (if applicable) is an added advantage
