Job Description

Reporting to the Product Support Manager you will be based at our factory in Winsford and responsible for repairs/servicing and MOT preparation of our double deck trailer fleet. Liaising with customers on their sites you will ensure a positive working relationship is maintained at all times.

Job Responsibility

  • Repair and inspections to trailers
  • Checking in trailers from rent and sorting any defects pick up
  • Carry out pre mot inspections and present for test
  • Managing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Vehicle safety inspections
  • Responsible for ordering parts where required
  • Maintaining and validating all job cards/service sheets
  • Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
  • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
  • Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations

Requirements

  • Hands on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
  • Previous experience of repairing trailers/tail lifts and moving double decks essential
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Be able to complete chassis deck, tail lift service and lolers

Nice to have

Strong communication/relationship building skills with an enthusiastic, driven and determined attitude
