Proven experience in cleaning supervision or team leadership within a facilities management environment
Strong organisational and time management skills with a detail-oriented approach
Ability to train and mentor staff effectively
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning best practices
Valid DBS check (mandatory)
Reliable transport and willingness to travel between sites (mileage allowance provided)
Availability for 25 hours per week 39 weeks per year
Available from 15.00 - 19.00

Job Responsibility

Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, aligning tasks with the Operations Manager’s directives
Arrange/cover for absent staff
Train new cleaning staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and company standards
Maintain and manage cleaning schedules to ensure timely and consistent service delivery
Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to verify compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards
Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to prevent shortages
Perform deep cleaning of sites weekly in accordance with the Operations Manager’s instructions
Address client and staff concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Ensure full compliance with health, safety regulations, and company policies at all times

Loading soiled linen, trash and other items as requested to be transported and delivered
Unloading and delivering and/or stock need supplies
Examining halls and lobbies for cleanliness and reports any maintenance concerns to supervisor
Checking utility and storage rooms for stock and ensuring clean and orderly condition
