Job Responsibility:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for mobile and portable generator solutions
Build a strong pipeline of prospects across the hire, construction, events, and industrial sectors
Conduct product demonstrations and site visits to showcase the capabilities of our generator range
Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations tailored to client needs
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target markets
Collaborate with internal teams including technical support, logistics, and customer service
Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities
Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager
Travel regularly between Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane to meet clients and attend industry events
Requirements:
2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in generators, hire equipment, industrial power, or related technical products
Hunger and drive to succeed in a new business development role
Technical mindset with ability to understand and communicate product specifications
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently
Willingness to travel extensively across NSW, VIC, and QLD
Valid driver's license and professional presentation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Enthusiasm for learning and openness to coaching and development
