Requirements

Experience in the operation of mobile plant within an industrial site (e.g., Waste Industry, Process/Power Plant)

Job Responsibility

Operating heavy plant and machinery, including Overhead Cranes, Loading Shovels, Forklift Trucks (FLT), and other mobile plant in accordance with ERF procedures and safety standards
Managing waste safely and efficiently, including bunker management out of hours and during off-peak times
Controlling traffic movements and ensuring compliance in the tipping hall area
Assisting with front-line maintenance, plant checks, and shutdown activities to minimise plant downtime
Carrying out frequent risk assessments and identifying/containing possible hazards before they occur
Documenting all observations correctly in line with the company's Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System
Complying with all PPE requirements including COSHH chemical handling
