We have a new opportunity for a PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our PET-CT Mobiles team. You will ideally have a background in nuclear medicine and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, although this would be a great opportunity for a Radiographer to develop in this modality. Some experience in CT is also desirable but not essential for this role.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake a competency programme in PET-CT
IV cannulate patients
Work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Radiographer
Must have PET CT experience
Evidence of Clinical competency
Flexible approach to work
Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
Ability to be innovative and forward thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving
Strong on attention to detail
Must be IT literate
Able to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team
HCPC registration
Full driving license required
Nice to have:
Background in nuclear medicine
Experience in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals
Some experience in CT
