Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Mobile Multi-Skilled Technician with a strong electrical background to join our facilities management team. This role is essential for maintaining building plant, equipment, and systems for a high-profile commercial contract across the UK South (Windsor) region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks according to provided instruction sets and industry standards
  • Respond swiftly to site engineering emergencies and reactive breakdown requests to ensure all systems are resolved within agreed SLA timeframes
  • Maintain and understand all site plant and electrical/mechanical systems to ensure peak performance
  • Undertake Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) duties as required for the site
  • Carry out small-scale electrical installation works and repairs
  • Assist with building fabric maintenance, including basic plumbing repairs
  • Coordinate with and monitor the performance of sub-contractors, ensuring work areas are left in a satisfactory condition

Requirements:

  • Certified Electrician: Must hold a recognized Electrical Qualification (C&G 2360 or equivalent)
  • Current C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations
  • C&G 2391 Test and Inspection certification
  • Previous experience working with structured PPM delivery systems and CAFM platforms
  • A good basic education with strong written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills
  • Must be available for a call-out rota, weekend work, and out-of-hours tasks as required
  • Able to work at height, on roofs, and carry tools/components up to 20kg
  • A calm manner with the ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent customer service
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK

  • To manage the timely completion of work orders for planned and reactive maintenance, oversee specialist sub-contract work and remedial work
  • Undertake mechanical and electrical building maintenance to include but not exhaustively working on air handling Units (AHUs), emergency/power generators, emergency lighting checks, lighting and security systems, HVAC, pumps, legionella temperature check, tanks flushes, plumbing remedial works
  • Host specialist engineers/manufacturers engineers/contractors on site to undertake specialist remedial/warranty works as required
  • Plant room walk rounds – undertake any snagging and general maintenance/remedial works on each site as required
