Job Responsibility:
Facilitates safety committee meetings
Provides risk identification process and risk management plan
Manages a system to track, trend, and mitigate errors or hazards
Reviews safety protocols annually and updates as needed
Facilitates ongoing safety training for all personnel
Coordinates with senior management on trends and occurrences
Facilitates the use of risk assessment tools
Facilitates safety drills and debriefings quarterly
Facilitates debriefings for any unusual occurrences
Maintains current knowledge in industry safety standards
Conducts routine safety inspections and audits
Communicates safety related information to the team
Responsible for setting a strong example of safety by promoting a safe environment
Supports Hospital @ Home program
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Environmental Health and Safety
Three years' experience in a medical transport environment or safety management field required
Healthcare Experience Required
EMT/Paramedic preferred
Patient transport (Air/Ground) preferred
