Job Description:

Nature of work involves providing mobile maintenance and repair support to a utility line tree clearance contractor. Technician duties may include servicing light to medium duty trucks, heavy equipment, and performing routine maintenance on other forms of specialized equipment such as various types of boom trucks, diesel trucks, Tractors, excavators, dozers, trucks, trailers, bunchers, forewarders, skidders, and chippers. Hydraulics experience is a plus. A valid Commercial Driver’s License is required. Candidates may be asked to haul equipment and materials between multiple job sites and corporate office location. Candidate will be working out of a mobile service unit traveling to various field locations to provide repairs on site. Candidate must be able to provide own tools. Two to four years mechanic experience or certification in automotive and diesel truck repair from an accredited trade school is preferred.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing mobile maintenance and repair support to a utility line tree clearance contractor
  • Servicing light to medium duty trucks, heavy equipment, and performing routine maintenance on specialized equipment (boom trucks, diesel trucks, tractors, excavators, dozers, trucks, trailers, bunchers, forwarders, skidders, chippers)
  • Hauling equipment and materials between multiple job sites and corporate office location
  • Working out of a mobile service unit traveling to various field locations to provide repairs on site

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License
  • Two to four years mechanic experience or certification in automotive and diesel truck repair from an accredited trade school
  • Must be able to provide own tools
  • Hydraulics experience is a plus
