We're looking for a skilled and proactive Mobile Maintenance Engineer to support the delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of client sites. This is a field-based role covering multiple locations across Bristol and the South West, so travel is a core part of the position. You'll play a key role in ensuring building services systems are maintained safely, efficiently and in full compliance, while delivering a professional, customer-focused service. Job Responsibility
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and building services systems
Fault-finding and diagnosing issues across HVAC plant and associated equipment
Responding to plant and equipment failures and carrying out repairs as required
Monitoring and responding to BMS alarms and utilising systems for first-line diagnostics
Maintaining electrical, mechanical and water system logbooks and compliance records
Completing maintenance tasks accurately through the CAFM system (simPRO), including photographic evidence
Undertaking regular plant room inspections and building walk-rounds
Supporting specialist subcontractors and monitoring service delivery when on site
Carrying out minor installation works and system improvements
Identifying potential hazards and escalating concerns appropriately
Maintaining safe working practices and compliance with health and safety requirements
Building positive relationships with clients and end users through excellent customer service
Requirements
City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
Strong understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations
Experience carrying out maintenance, testing and fault-finding within commercial building services environments
Experience working with plant equipment including boilers, pumps, ventilation systems, switchgear, generators, lighting and power systems
Strong customer service and communication skills
