Job Description:

We are seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to manage the electrical and mechanical integrity of four key sites across the region. You will be the "boots on the ground" technical expert, ensuring operational continuity across Salisbury, Warminster, Andover, and Marlborough. This is a mobile role that offers a perfect balance of routine planned maintenance (PPM) and complex reactive fault-finding.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee electrical infrastructure
  • Power & Lighting: Emergency light testing, ballast/lamp changes, and managing Simmtronic/Phillips lighting systems
  • Distribution & Small Works: RCD/board checks, fault-finding, and installing new sockets/circuits
  • Critical Systems: Visual checks and battery maintenance for UPS systems (Riello, Piller, Static/Rotary)
  • Heavy Infrastructure: Handling HV/LV switching, shutdowns, switchgear schedules, and Control Panel maintenance (including Star Delta Starters)
  • Compliance: PAT testing and ensuring all works meet 18th Edition standards

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • City & Guilds Level 3 (2330 or 2365) + AM2
  • City & Guilds 236 (Parts 1 & 2)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (17th considered if willing to update)
  • Experience with HV/LV switching and complex control panels is highly desirable
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
