Job Description:

We have brand new opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join our mobile team at multiple sites nationwide. You will be required to meet and greet patients and assist the Radiographers in preparing patients for their diagnostic scan as well as administrative duties for patient bookings. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. As this is a mobile role, there will be an extensive amount of travel required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting in patient preparation
  • Chaperoning
  • Cannulation
  • Positioning of patients on the scanner
  • Clinical stock management
  • Clinical audits
  • Processing of patients via E-Systems
  • Meet and greet patients
  • Assist Radiographers in preparing patients for diagnostic scan
  • Administrative duties for patient bookings
  • Supporting Radiographers during patient scans
  • Making telephone bookings for patients

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good IT and administration skills
  • Flexible, organized and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure
  • Full driving license for use within the UK
  • Willingness to undertake Hepatitis B immunisation course if not already immunised

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in IV cannulation
  • Immunised against Hepatitis B
