Job Description

The Mobile Grooming Operations Assistant supports the day-to-day readiness of our grooming vans and equipment. This role ensures each mobile salon is clean, stocked, fueled, and operating safely so our groomers can focus on delivering exceptional care to pets. Ideal for someone looking for a part-time role with a flexible schedule that's organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine checks (fluids, tire pressure, lights, wipers)
  • Coordinate scheduled service appointments and report mechanical issues
  • Keep vans clean inside and out, including waste disposal and sanitation
  • Fuel grooming vans as needed and track fuel usage
  • Move vans between locations and prepare them for next-day routes
  • Clean and sanitize grooming stations, tubs, tables, and floors
  • Restock towels, tools, and grooming supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace inside each mobile salon
  • Wash, dry, fold, and restock grooming towels
  • Refill shampoos, conditioners, sprays, and other consumables
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate when supplies need replenishing
  • Assist with loading/unloading equipment
  • Support groomers with miscellaneous tasks that improve daily efficiency
  • Follow safety and cleanliness standards at all times

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work on your feet
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Prior experience in pet care, automotive care, or service operations is a plus but not required
