Job Description

The Mobile Commercial Finance team are business partners for the Chief Commercial Officer's function, supporting the performance and delivery from the Mobile Squad. This position will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Mobile business unit outcomes through managing the performance update process that identifies key opportunities and challenges. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the forecasting process, ensuring clear communication of expected outcomes to stakeholders, and actively challenging forecasts to enhance accuracy.

Job Responsibility

  • Producing and enhancing the Mobile Squad weekly and monthly performance packs, delivering clear insight on key performance drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Providing cover for the Senior Finance Business Partner (Snr FBP) on weekly and monthly trading calls when required, confidently presenting financial performance, key variances, and commentary to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting the Snr FBP in the rolling forecast process by consolidating Mobile category submissions, breaking forecasts out by channel, and coordinating the forecast review process
  • Partnering closely with channel teams and Mobile Category Leads to ensure accurate target phasing and forecasting
  • Supporting the Snr FBP on project and channel business cases, ensuring CAPEX and OPEX investments are correctly accounted for and aligned to CCB submissions
  • Partnering with project teams to review cost submissions and track benefits against the approved business case
  • Enhancing your understanding of the Mobile business categories and channels and leverage this knowledge to actively question and influence the Mobile squad/SLT during performance and forecast updates
  • Supporting business reviews for the CLC channel and Multiplay business unit, taking ownership of defined tasks, issues, and opportunities, and working with and appropriately challenging these areas to ensure delivery of agreed business outcomes
  • Working with Snr FBP to identify opportunities to automate and transition reporting activities to the Infosys CoE reporting function
  • Consistently question existing processes and actively pursue enhancements in collaboration with the team and stakeholders, fostering continual improvement in ways of working
