Job Description:

We are a leading facilities management provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services to our portfolio of commercial clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team, focusing on a key contract covering modern office spaces along the M3 corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a mobile role and takes pride in their work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems
  • Conducting fault-finding and repairs to ensure minimal disruption to the client
  • Performing minor electrical installations and project works
  • Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of all work completed

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
  • Proven experience working in a similar maintenance role within commercial environments (offices, retail, etc.)
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
  • Willingness to participate in the on-call rota

Nice to have:

City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection
