Mobile CT Tech

• Perform high-quality CT exams
• ensure patient safety and comfort
• operate and drive the mobile CT coach
• represent the organization with professionalism and compassion
• competently operates CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures
• obtains medical history from patients and compares requisitions to physicians' orders to ensure exam accuracy
• positions patient and selects proper scanning factors
• prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist
• post-processes images as directed
• prepares and maintains records in accordance with various regulatory agencies
• identifies equipment performance issues and performs equipment quality assurance tests and calibration procedures
• performs various patient positioning and transporting duties
• must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served

• ARRT (R) and CT (or eligibility)
• state licensure
• BLS certification
• willingness to obtain a CDL
• knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and basic radiation safety
• competent in IV and venipuncture
• excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills
• ability to work independently
• intermediate computer skills
• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
• Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) needs to be obtained within 18 months
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months
• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology
