Requirements

Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer
Must have commercial Gas tickets or qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines
Must have experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting
Must have strong knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices
Must have a full current driving licence
Must have strong customer care focus, good communication skills and proactive skills
Must be capable of completing essential paperwork in accurate and timely manner
Must be capable to monitor visiting sub-contractors, issue permits, control small work and escort duties
Must be able to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults

Job Responsibility

Undertake maintenance and repair of Gas Plant of buildings as required under contract
Responsible for properties like schools, libraries and Care homes
Ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to required legislative standards
Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted within timescales
Participate on the On-Call Rota
Ensure all certification is correctly completed and remedial works clearly identified

Requirements

City & Guilds Level II/III (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
Current Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, TPCP1/A, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1)
Strong experience with HVAC systems, including Air Handling Units (AHUs)
A deep understanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices
