Job Description:

The main purpose of this role is to provide an effective parks and open spaces cleansing service within the London Borough of Lewisham.

Job Responsibility:

Removing litter, emptying litter / dog bins and clearing leaves
Clearing and Recording of Fly tips
Removal of minor graffiti
Sweeping of hard standing areas
Raking and forking of sand pits
Reporting of defects or hazards as they are discovered
Drive company vehicles as required
Assisting the Park Services Supervisor to carry out the requirements of the contract
Aid the Supervisor to ensure that work is completed within the set time schedule, to the required quality and standard of the contract specifications
To wear the correct provided uniform and PPE while at work
Carrying out operations in compliance with Health and Safety Procedures
To be aware of the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and, where possible, ensure that the requirements are achieved and adhered to
Assisting in the development of a good working relationship between colleagues, the client and customers
Following instructions relating to vehicles and to ensure all equipment is used in safe working condition, in accordance with the Company's Health Safety and Welfare, Operational Systems Manual and all associated procedures

Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence
Reliable and conscientious
A can do attitude
A willingness to learn
Ability to work on one's own initiative
Previous experience of similar work and tasks
