Job Description

The Mobile Applications Manager at Tesla Government, Inc. oversees the development efforts, management of mobile applications (apps) developed by Tesla Government, Inc., and customer success for mobile app. This role is responsible for supporting prioritization, user base support, and planning. The manager must prioritize support efforts to ensure that customers have what they need and tasks are completed on schedule. The manager will provide input to the Mobile Apps development team on needed features and improvements to ensure apps function as intended. The person in this role should also be engaged with the user base, and understand user trends. When needed, the manager will be called on to support training and provide updated help materials.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain a proper understanding of the user base
  • Ensure that users have a proper understanding of the processes and standards for apps
  • if needed, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support users
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of applicable apps and services
  • Assess users’ needs to identify opportunities to provide better support through apps
  • Provide input for planning and execution of development efforts
  • Identify stakeholders and maintain a communication plan
  • Identify project milestones and update stakeholders as appropriate
  • Support prioritization of development efforts as it relates to apps
  • Document users’ processes, as needed, to create well-informed user stories to guide development work
  • Support the training and outreach staff with SOPs, training guides, and other materials to support user engagement and training on apps
  • Guide development of computer-based training or video guides, as needed
  • Lead training events for users focused on apps
  • Provide support and input on help desk tickets related to apps
  • Participate in efforts to grow our business

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a relevant field
  • Experience working with the US government or military
  • Experience supporting management and oversight of mobile apps
  • Experience creating SOPs, user stories, user guides, and stakeholder presentations
  • US citizenship

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting development of Tesla Government applications, including GovShare
  • Knowledge of mobile application development best practices
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
