Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement forecasting algorithms tailored to specific customers and product lines
  • Partner with business stakeholders to determine appropriate forecasting methodologies and modeling approaches
  • Build machine learning solutions from scratch (no existing models in place)
  • Ingest and transform data from an on‑premises data warehouse using ETL processes
  • Stage and model data into reporting schemas for analytics and downstream consumption
  • Develop and expose semantic models, initially schema‑based, and transition them to use a data lake as the primary source
  • Enable reporting and analytics by publishing schemas and models into Microsoft Fabric
  • Support the evolution of existing semantic models to lake‑centric architectures
  • Ensure scalable, well‑governed data models aligned with analytics and ML use case

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Machine Learning and forecasting techniques
  • Advanced Python development experience for data processing and ML workflows
  • Hands‑on experience designing ML solutions from inception through implementation
  • Solid background working with on‑premises data warehouses and ETL pipelines
  • Experience designing reporting schemas and semantic models
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts for analytics and forecasting
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, semantic models, analytics workloads)

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to forecasting use cases across multiple product lines or customer segments
  • Experience collaborating with BI, data engineering, and analytics teams
